Expression of Interest: Membership of the AWI Extension NSW Producer Advisory Panel
AWI Extension NSW is the key extension investment of Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) in NSW. The AWI Extension NSW network facilitates an information exchange enabling woolgrowers to implement productivity improvements in key aspects of their sheep and wool business. AWI is a not-for-profit company that invests in research, development, adoption and marketing along the global supply chain for Australian wool.
AWI Extension NSW is overseen by a Producer Advisory Panel (PAP) of woolgrowers from across the state, which provides advice to the network. Face-to-face PAP Meetings afford PAP Members the opportunity to network with like-minded growers from across the state, as well as AWI Extension NSW & AWI staff. Engagement with key AWI staff and portfolio updates are requested by the PAP and included in PAP Meetings.
The AWI Extension NSW PAP succession plan means vacancies are becoming available for woolgrowers to join this Panel. AWI Extension NSW is seeking expressions of interest from NSW sheep producers who would like to contribute to the AWI Extension NSW PAP.
All NSW woolgrowers are encouraged to apply, but due to two PAP Member retirements, AWI Extension NSW is actively seeking applications from growers in the following regions of NSW:
• Monaro
• New England
