AWI Extension NSW have invited NSW DPI Director – Sheep and goat traceability, Kiowa Fenner to discuss the implementation of eID and the new rules that will be applicable from 1 January 2025 at our regular monthly webinar.

The webinar will take place on Thursday 13 June 2024 at the usual time of 1pm.

Kiowa will discuss the basics around what you need to know and what you must do to be compliant with the changes to the rules. The webinar will address what it will mean for you as a producer regarding what equipment you may (or may not) need, changes to tagging and paperwork (if any) for when you buy and sell your stock and importantly who can you ask for help.

Matt Jones of LLS will also be on hand as a panellist to answer questions during question time.

We look forward to you joining us for this informative overview, along with some excellent signposts to information that can help make this transition easier. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions, and we encourage you to send your questions in advance to awiextensionnsw@wool.com by 7 June so we can compile them for Kiowa to include in her presentation.
