AWI Extension NSW Webinar - eIDs: what you need to know to comply with the new rules

It explained traceability requirements including PICs, NVDs, and the NLIS system, along with guidance on correct form usage and tag ordering. Responsibilities around data updates and compliance were outlined, with clarification on necessary technology. Key takeaways include the mandatory eID deadline of 1 January 2027, the requirement to use species-specific, NLIS-accredited tags, and the need to update the NLIS database within 48 hours of stock movement. Compliance is crucial for maintaining national traceability standards.
